What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): Passion, Dedication, Friendliness, Communication, Empathy, Reliability, Patience, are all the things i feel are very important, but one thing that is more important is to understand each person is an individual meaning thier care needs differ, and can change from day to day.
How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): By ensuring that disabled people has more freedom to make choices in life . I can help a disabled person increase their feeling of independence, Weekly outings are a good way to provide access to physical activities outside of the home. These outings can be to a variety of places, including shopping areas, nature areas, historical points of interest, or other locales nearby.
What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): As a personal assistant You’re supporting people to do the things they’re not able to do by themselves, giving them the independence to lead a fulfilling life, I find this a very rewarding opportunity.
What are your hobbies/interests?: I like to go for walks, doing gardening, love visiting historical place and I enjoy watching old movies.
