Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job. (required): I currently work as a p.an and have done for the last 7 years, I work with a lady with down syndrome. My duty of work is personal cere and to take her on days out. I also do sleepovers.
What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): I have a qualification in access to nursing, autism awareness diploma. I’ve got life skills of working in the cere industry. I’m both work and personal life.
How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I’m an enthusiast energetic person with lots of patients and energy. I enjoy days out keeping busy and love being in a job roll of supporting an adult in having an independent life.
What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): I love the freedom the roll gives you. I love being able to help a young adult have a totally independent life. I love the energy I can bring to someone’s life.
What are your hobbies/interests?: My hobbies and interests are going to the gym, days out with my children. I enjoy sports watching them and taking part. I like days out with my partner, beach days and love cooking.
