Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job. (required): Since I left school all my jobs have been within the care setting. There is nothing I love more than helping people and keeping people company. I worked I a residential home for a few years and nothing made me happier than chatting to the elderly and putting a smile on their faces.
What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): Since working in care I’ve found you need to be understanding, patient, and resilient.
How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I will always give my 100% to meet the individuals needs and will try to make their life as easier and happier as I can.
What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): My first job was PA work with yourselves actually and I really enjoyed it but then had to look for something more hours but now I have a child with ASD so something like this fits perfectly for me and my lifestyle.
What are your hobbies/interests?: Family time is so important to me, so spending time with family is one of my favourite things to do. I always have a dog which I love going on walks with and exploring.
