MT015 Personal Assistant Please quote MT015 on application APPLY NOW Female Personal Assistants required A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF I am a 30 year old young lady with many interests, especially going swimming, horseback riding, being out and about socialising, which include going to cafes, pubs, music venues, and discos. I love children and babies and have enjoyed volunteering with play groups. I have a significant learning disability, controlled epilepsy and am non-verbal, although I am able to communicate with some Makaton and my own signing. I am seeking a personal assistant to support me to enjoy being out in the community and with physical and emotional welfare. Personal care will be involved as I am incontinent. I enjoy swimming, horse riding, and going to city centres, and other outdoor activities where I can get some exercise. I am a people person who likes to socialise and not stay in. I also like dressing up as I find people are more receptive to me approaching them and their families as I like to say hi to everyone. My dislikes are the cinema and bowling, although at the bowling centre they play good music and I enjoy shooting pool hand over hand or playing the games like centipede. PURPOSE OF JOB To support and assist me when I am out in the community. PLACE OF WORK Out in the community. HOURS OF WORK We have over 30 hours available and are open to days times etc. Full time or part time can be considered weekday and weekend availability, along with some overnights which can be discussed. We are also open to a job share with 2 PAs. Generally, the day will start at 9:30 Please apply with any availability and we can discuss further. ABOUT THE JOB This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority. All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins. Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period. Wages will be paid on a monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
