A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 70-year-old man living with my wife in Dinas Powys, although originally from Scotland (minus the accent, unfortunately!). I attend a day centre most days which I really enjoy. It lifts my spirits to meet with other people and offer them compliments to make them smile. Social interaction is important to me and it’s fair to say I am described as a lovely man who enjoys conversation.

I have vascular dementia, meaning my conversation is repetitive. I use a walker to steady my mobility and can manage my own personal care. I enjoy watching TV, music and sports, my favourite being rugby.
