I help my elderly relatives from time to time especially when they need extra help with bags, transport accessing services e.t.c. so i do have some experience assisting others.What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): Security conscious, chatty from time to time to make sure the person is o.k. First aid conscious, I have completed first aid training in the past and I would do seizure first aid is considered necessary. Reliable and trustworthy.How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I believe I could help increase the amount of independence a disable person can achieve by offering transport and general living help to get out and about when they need assistance.What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): By helping others as a pa would give me a sense of giving something back to the community and help not only the person I am helping but myself also by getting work and a sense of purpose.What are your hobbies/interests?: I like walking, staying healthy and watching sport and follow news events as and when they happen.
