Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job. (required): I have a level 7 in Security management and I am very conscious of the problems many of us face getting out and about especially if you have a disability. I help my elderly relatives from time to time especially when they need extra help with bags, transport accessing services e.t.c. so i do have some experience assisting others.
What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): Security conscious, chatty from time to time to make sure the person is o.k. First aid conscious, I have completed first aid training in the past and I would do seizure first aid is considered necessary. Reliable and trustworthy.
How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I believe I could help increase the amount of independence a disable person can achieve by offering transport and general living help to get out and about when they need assistance.
What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): By helping others as a pa would give me a sense of giving something back to the community and help not only the person I am helping but myself also by getting work and a sense of purpose.
What are your hobbies/interests?: I like walking, staying healthy and watching sport and follow news events as and when they happen. Movies, working.
