A Round-Up of December 2024

As the year comes to a close, we reflect on the festive activities and events that brought joy and camaraderie to our office.

For any celebratory occasion, we decorate the window in Suite 4 at Head Office, making it the perfect location for anyone driving up to the office from the Upper Boat roundabout. This December was no exception.

Head Office Christmas Party

On the 6th of December, we celebrated our annual Christmas Party at Bryn Meadows Golf Club. The evening was filled with a delightful three-course meal, drinks and dancing to the tunes of the disco. Despite the blustery weather brought by Storm Darragh, everyone made it home safely.

Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day

We celebrated Save the Children on Friday the 13^th of December, raising £45.00 for the charity. The highlight of the day was a visit from our CEO’s dog, who never fails to bring smiles to our faces.

Secret Santa

On the 16th of December, Head Office exchanged Secret Santa gifts. Thanks to ‘drawnames’ and the organisation by our Advisor Nicola, the event was a success. The standout gift was a boomerang for our Advocate Brenda, who humorously always keeps coming back to Dewis CIL.

Messages of Gratitude

We received heartfelt messages of thanks, including Christmas cards and gifts from our Trustees, Service Users and our annual hamper from Mark Bates Insurance.

Holiday Closure

Please note that our office will be closed between Christmas and New Year. We will reopen on Thursday, the 2nd of January 2025.

We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to providing further support in 2025.
