I have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and I am currently awaiting assessment for ADHD and Tourette’s. I am verbal and physically able, but I require supervision at all times due to limited safety awareness and anxiety. I can be sensitive to raised voices and may become distressed if I am told “no” frequently. I also experience some sensory sensitivities, particularly with clothing, noise, and smells. I enjoy gaming and would like support creating content for YouTube and Instagram. I also like swimming, going out for food, and car rides. I would benefit from support in building and maintaining friendships, as well as encouragement to try new activities and experiences. Purpose of the Role To support me in the community and during social activities, helping me build confidence, independence, and social skills in a safe and positive way.
