I have a diagnosed learning disability and some mobility problems, I do my best getting around with aid of a walking frame. I heavily dependant on support for my personal care. I really enjoying puzzles and colouring books. I am a massive fan of television soaps including Emmerdale and Coronation Street. I also like to watch game shows like tipping point. I will need help with personal care such as changing my pad, toileting, helping me shower, change making sure I am clean and presentable. I will also need support getting in and out of my wheel chair. PURPOSE OF THE JOB To help and support me in my home with my bedtime routine. HOURS OF WORK 14 hours, Tuesday + Friday morning, (8:00-9:15) Saturday - (9:30-1:30) (Returning 6PM-8PM for evening care) Sunday - (9:30-1:30) (Returning 6PM-8PM for evening care) RATES OF PAY £14.75Per Hour TASKS CAN INCLUDE Personal care (changing my incontinent pad. showering, toileting, making sure I am clean and presentable) Supporting me to change into my night ware. Toileting and wiping afterwards Possibly preparing a light snack and meal. Taking me out into the community on Saturday Assist me to go on and off my wheel chair Making me a hot drink. ABOUT THE JOB Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid on a monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay given. The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence.
