Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job. (required): I was a motor mechanic for 40 years, app 10 years ago i gave this up to become my fathers full time carer/PA after several years unfortunately he passed away, my sister then asked me to PA for her husband my brother in law who had dementia until his passing 12 months later, i have worked the past 18 months as a PA through Dewis and privately, currently i spend time as a PA with three gentlemen whom i see separately for a 3 hour session once a week.

What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): understanding, caring, patience, empathy, friendly, interested , loyalty, punctual, be yourself but be your best self.

How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): i am caring , friendly and honest.

What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): its more like a friendship to me its very rewarding emotionally and you can never have to many friends.

What are your hobbies/interests? (required): my hobbies are , sports , nature, music, sea fishing and walking my dogs.

Would you consider a casual position if you are unsuccessful with this job? (required): Yes

Do you speak any other languages? if so what do you speak?  (required): some Welsh, some French.
