Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job. (required): My employment experiences are September 2025- present Occupational therapy student November 2023- October 2025 Serendipity Domiciliary Care worker • Administering medication, making meals • Helping with personal care such as washing, dressing, hair, nail, mouth and skin care, and eating and drinking • Chatting and engaging with relatives and providing care updates • Companionship — communicating and taking an interest in the client’s needs • Helping with household tasks, including gardening, cleaning, household maintenance, washing clothes, and making the bed • Assisting with paperwork such as paying bills, post the letter 2020 – April 2025 through Teacher Active Agency Learning Support Assistant Duties included: • Working with the teachers to plan and implement lessons, following the school’s curriculum, goals, objectives, and philosophies. • Supervising pupils in all areas, including the dining room, library, and playground. • Collaborating with teachers to create and implement developmentally appropriate lessons supporting the school’s philosophy and mission. • Tutoring both individual and small groups of pupils to enhance their learning. • Helping teachers to produce learning materials, lesson plans, prepare classroom schedules, • Pupil mentoring. 2019 – 2020 Full-time Parent / Re-location to the UK During this time: • Ensured that I provided a clean and safe environment, following the specified cleaning requirements. • Completed a variety of tasks necessary to raise healthy and happy children, demonstrating skills such as excellent time management, an organised approach, flexibility to meet changing circumstances and the ability to stay calm in difficult situations. 2015 – 2019 St Andrews International School, Thailand Teaching Assistant Duties included: • Creating classroom resources, especially literacy and numeracy activities, following the school curriculum. • Supporting teachers and senior colleagues with routine and administrative tasks. • Encouraging pupils, including those with additional needs, to take part in learning activities. • Helping to ensure a safe and healthy environment for the pupils. Phitchamol White (CV continued) 2011 – 2015 Maternity Leave / Full-Time Parent • Demonstrating all the many, varied skills necessary to undertake this role, whilst ensuring a happy, caring, and positive environment for my children. 2007 – 2011 Bangkok Smile Dental Clinic Patient Co-ordinator Duties included: • Supporting all staff members to maintain a smooth-running practice. • Managing appointments and maintaining an up-to-date patient database. • Explaining costing and payment options to the patients. • Following a structured patient consultation. • Adhering to all the practice protocols and policies, particularly data security. • Responding to all inquiries about products and procedures. 2004 – 2006 Limousine Express Bangkok Reservation Manager • Working with contract agencies in Bangkok and abroad. • Assisting customers, via the telephone, email, or the Internet, to book limousines. • Arranging and delivering meetings for contract agencies and airlines. • Accurately arranging transitions between pick up and drop of journeys. • Preparing manuals, guidelines and reports about services and policies.


What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): Some qualities I have that might suit the individuals in this job are Behaviour management experience – Helps manage challenging behaviours calmly and respectfully, ensuring the safety and dignity of the disabled person. Time management – Ensures medication, appointments, personal care, and daily routines are followed properly and on time. Mentoring skills – Supports the individual in developing independence, confidence, and life skills where possible. Effective / informed decision-making skills – Enables quick and appropriate decisions in daily care or emergency situations while acting in the person’s best interest. Leadership and problem-solving – Helps handle unexpected situations (e.g., mobility issues, equipment problems) and take initiative when needed. Good knowledge of ICT systems – Useful for maintaining care records, communicating with healthcare professionals, managing appointments, and using assistive technology. Calm and professional in stressful situations – Important during medical emergencies, emotional distress, or behavioural difficulties. Empathy – Essential for understanding the person’s feelings, promoting dignity, building trust, and providing person-centred care.


How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I believe I can contribute to the needs and independence of a disabled person by using my skills and personal qualities effectively. My empathy allows me to understand the individual’s feelings and provide person-centred support that respects their dignity and choices. With my behaviour management experience and ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations, I can ensure a safe and supportive environment. My time management skills help me maintain routines, attend appointments, and support daily activities efficiently. Through my mentoring skills, I can encourage and motivate the individual to develop confidence and independence in completing tasks themselves where possible. Additionally, my decision-making, leadership, and problem-solving skills enable me to respond appropriately to challenges and promote the individual’s wellbeing. My ICT knowledge also helps with maintaining records, organising appointments, and using assistive technology to enhance independence. Overall, I would aim to support the individual in a way that promotes choice, dignity, and as much independence as possible.


What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): PA work appeals to me because it allows me to make a real difference in someone’s daily life. I value the opportunity to provide person-centred support, build trusting relationships, and help individuals maintain their independence and dignity. I find it rewarding to support someone in achieving their goals and improving their quality of life. This opportunity would also support my studies by helping me better understand her condition and enabling me to develop my knowledge and skills for my future career as an Occupational Therapist.


What are your hobbies/interests? (required): I like to watch movies with my daughter, cook together, go out for walks, and I am obsessed with animals and pets.
