I have also experience with physical disabled people e.g paralyzed and people with mental health issues.


What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): Important qualities when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person are kindness, patience, and respect. A personal assistant should listen carefully, communicate well, and support the person’s independence. It is also important to be reliable, trustworthy, and understanding because the person depends on you for daily support. Being flexible and having a positive attitude helps create a safe and comfortable environment.


How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I can contribute to the needs and independence of a disabled person by supporting them with daily activities while encouraging them to do as much as they can on their own. I would listen to their choices, respect their decisions, and help them feel confident and safe. I would provide support with kindness, patience, and understanding so they can live independently and maintain their dignity.
