This builds strong compassion and patience, which are essential for supporting someone with a disability.

What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): A personal assistant should be kind, caring, and understanding. Disabled people may sometimes experience physical pain, frustration, or barriers in daily life. Showing empathy helps you understand how they feel and provide support in a respectful way.
How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I think as personal assistant I can help with everyday tasks that the person may find difficult. supporting daily tasks, encouraging independence, respecting their choices, providing emotional support, ensuring safety, and helping them stay socially active. This allows them to live with dignity, confidence, and as much independence as possible.

What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): Working as a personal assistant appeals to me because helping others is something I truly enjoy. I find it very rewarding to know that I am making a positive difference in someone’s life. Supporting a disabled person and helping them with their daily activities would give me a strong sense of purpose.

What are your hobbies/interests? (required): My hobbies include drawing, reading, and writing. I enjoy drawing because it allows me to be creative and express my ideas visually. Reading is another hobby I enjoy as it helps me relax and learn new things. I also like writing, which gives me the opportunity to express my thoughts and be imaginative.
