Although I do not have extensive professional experience in care work, I am a responsible, patient, and caring person who is willing to learn. My education has helped me develop communication, organization, and problem-solving skills which can be useful when supporting individuals in their daily activities.”

What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): “Important qualities include patience, kindness, respect, and good communication. A personal assistant should be reliable, understanding, and able to listen carefully to the needs of the individual. It is also important to respect the person’s independence, privacy, and dignity while providing the necessary support.”

How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): “I can support a disabled person by assisting them with daily activities while encouraging them to remain as independent as possible. I will listen to their needs, respect their choices, and provide support in a patient and respectful way. I am also willing to learn and adapt to provide the best possible care.”

What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): “PA work appeals to me because I enjoy helping people and making a positive difference in someone’s daily life. I believe supporting individuals with their daily activities and helping them maintain independence is meaningful work. I am patient, caring, and willing to learn new skills to provide good support.”

What are your hobbies/interests? (required): “My hobbies include drawing, craft, playing with petsand learning new skills. I also enjoy organizing things and improving my communication skills. In my free time I like creative activities such as art and spending quiet time focusing on personal development.”
