Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job. (required): I am currently a casual babysitter who is adaptable to other peoples interests and needs. Through this role, I assist in the routines of the children, building the trust of both the children and the parents and creating a safe and comfortable atmosphere. I am also currently an online Welsh tutor who coordinates closely with students to progress them to their potential, of which I am passionate about.


What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): First of all, consisting of a well-rounded understanding of the disability and the effect of disabilities in general is an essential trait as a personal assistant to a disabled person. Most importantly, promoting independence, where possible, can help the person feel more confident in their abilities.


How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I can contribute to this through assisting in routines in a way that is comfortable to the person, promoting independence at times and offering companionship.


What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): Personally, I love to see people thrive. As a tutor, I am passionate about the progress of my students and how it positively impacts them. The same applies to the nature of this role, whereby I could contribute meaningfully to somebodys life.


What are your hobbies/interests? (required): I love fashion and beauty. I also enjoy fitness, attending dance classes on a weekly basis and swimming, which I also do regularly!
