Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job. (required): My career began in the performing arts, training at the Royal Academy and the Central School of Ballet, and later earning a BA in Dance and Performing Arts. Alongside my creative work, I’ve held many Personal assistant and customer service positions and have also taught ballet to children and young adults. My last placement was with a couple in NYC- helping them prepare for their first child and adjusting their flat and old routines for that blessing. I also performed tasks such as shopping, light house work, basic administrative tasks, mail and returns. These roles have strengthened and broadened skill set including, attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds.


What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): I feel it is important to be encouraging and hopefully to become a friend to that person so I can fully understand her needs. To approach things with empathy and kindness. To develop trust and a good working relationship together.


How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I would hope to give practical assistance and be aware of any health and safety issues that may arise. Have a commitment to empower (not take over) By showing support and be a motivating factor in their day.


What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): I love working and helping people. In a world that is so technology drive now I seek to work and engage with people as much as I can.


What are your hobbies/interests? (required): Im a creative at heart so Im a lover of all the arts. Watching or participating. But Im also a keen student, I love learning about new topics and subjects!


Would you consider a casual position if you are unsuccessful with this job? (required): Yes
