A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 9-year-old boy from the Tonypandy area looking for personal assistant to assist me at home and in the community. By Supporting me my mum can assist my brother. I have Down syndrome and a wheelchair user. I have kidney disease and am ibd tube fed but my mum takes care of my feeding. I am double incontinent, so personal care is needed. I am also having tests on my eye site as I find it difficult identifying certain objects.

I am very loving and I like to cuddle but I can also be stubborn at times especially when it comes to Peppa pig as I enjoy everything Peppa at the moment. Peppa is not a want it’s a need now so I would like you to take me out for walks locally and spend time with me in the local park. At home I have a playroom so when we stay in, I like to be in there.

PURPOSE OF JOB

Main reason for the position, support at home, out in the community.
Be confident to drive my adapted vehicle.

HOURS OF WORK

8 hours term time 12 hours school holidays,

RATES OF PAY

£15.50 per hour

ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).

The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
