JOB DESCRIPTION

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am an 11-year-old boy living with my family in the area of Sully. I warm to new people quite easily I am non-verbal, my mum says I am a sweet and loving boy and easily pleased. I do need 1:1 support as I do have meltdowns. The biggest trigger of mine is any child being upset or crying, this really upsets me. When this happens, I can jump from any height and land on my knees to hurt myself and bite my hands and sometimes I will throw anything in my reach. I do have a tendency to run away my mum said I am very fast. You will need to be physically fit to keep up with me.

I absolutely love being outdoors, loves walking together with my dad, that’s my happy place. I am joining a walking group with school.

I can be overwhelmed with busy places but I do enjoy new places especially being outdoors. I do not have any danger or stranger awareness so I need constant supervision.

I can take myself to toilet but I may need some support wiping and pulling my trousers up. I prefer to be shown where the nearest toilet is if we are out that way, I can go myself.
